does this rear plate look repairable? can it just be cleaned up do you think, i havnt git a clue

Do you mean instead of repairable, re-usable?

Check for damage around the coolant seals, also you should check the step wear from the corner seal.


If there is damage and you are asking if it can be repaired, you will need to post better pics.

can't tell much by the small pic but it's possible a machine shop can resurface it provided the overheating didn't warp it. how bad is the step wear?
