Difference in NA 4lug and 5lug axels

Just got 87 4lug fc now I want to do the 5 lug swap but I'm wondering if I could use the same axels they are for a na there not from the turbo models.

The T2 rear axles are larger in shaft diameter and are slightly shorter to mate to the larger diff cup size of the T2 diff. The hub splines on the wheel side are all the same, however among all FC RX7s.

You must have got the Weed I sent ya..hahahhaha!

N/a and TII axles will fit the Hubs BUT when it comes down to it the DIFF must fit the Axle..
SO you can only use a N/A Diff and N/A axles together or a TII Diff with TII axles..No interswapping...(that is my new word of the day..say it with me..IN..TERD...wipin...,,close enough!)

The way i worded it was wrong, and no i didn't get the weed you sent me, just bought my first house and have been moving since friday, didn't know we had that much **** packed in a mobile home!

What i meant was you can use ANY n/a cv axles on ANY n/a rear end, and same idea with turbo rear ends, no difference between 4 lug and 5 lug

Ahaha thanks for the help guys..I had another question so I have a complete s5 intake manifold that I'm planning on throwing on but was told that it will not fit the s4 short block? Or that it might not pass smog or not run right? Any help?

STARTED A NEW POST ABOUT THIS TO AVOID ISSUES THANK YOU!..

One big thing about the S5 Manifold on an s4 is that you need to grind an area of the center iron to get a GOOD seal on the manifold to engine.(or it sits on the little bump and produces a vacuum leak that you can't see.

Also you would need to figure out how to operate the Aux ports on it..(electrical)
