Hey guys
awhile ago my dash illumination lights stop working, now ive finally got round to removing all the dash and every thing installed new bulb to find that they still dont work. has anyone had this problem my car is 1983 series 2 rx7

have you tried checking the Fuse? most likely Your 15A Fuse Blew out... no need to go and replace Bulbs

Look under the shifter cover, and you will find two wires that look like they should be connected, but actually shouldn't. These are for use with auto trannies, and if you connect them then you will prompty burn up the dimmer dial.

There are three connections at the back of the dimmer dial, and if you connect two of them together you will get your lights back, but only at full brightness. But it is a good way to get by until you can find a replacement.
