Recently cut the rear springs on my 87 gxl, after cutting the car makes a popping noise and when taking low speed tight turns like in a parking lot the diff will lock up and make awful popping noises. I know cut springs are the end of the world but just wondering has anybody had this issue before?

 

Did you cut them to be the same level? Could be putting more weight on one side than the other.
