My gen1 (81) has an "Escort" brand aftermarket cruse control on it. It's the kind you rotate a dial to set the speed and then push the button on the end. Everything seems to be hooked up, but it doesn't work. Does anyone have any info on this type of cruse?

 

Sorry I can't help but I'm having a similar issue with moving the cruise control from a gsl to my 81. I think I have everything hooked up except I can't find where the on/off switch plugs into. Do you know how to wire that in?

 

Sorry, I wish I could help. I'm not very knowledgeable about these cars. I've owned my 81 for about 3 months and haven't messed with it much other than changing the fluids and replacing tires and brakes..
