Cruise control not working (HELP)

Got my 1990 RX7 convertible transmission rebuilt about a year ago and the cruise doesn't work. The light comes on but no response. Any suggestions?

Mine as well in my 89 vert. Tried different switches etc. The light comes on but doesn't do anything. I really wish it would work.

Have you tried looking at the appropriate Factory Service Manual?
Not familiar with the FC's, but on the FD, there are four components to the CC...(1) The actuator-located in the engine bay with a cable running to the throttlebody. (2) The power switch, (3) The control switches on the steering wheel (i.e. resume, set, accel and cancel) and (4) the CC CPU or control module.
Regardless, bump for an FC guy.

Thanks

thanks for the input. Guess I’ll have to obtain a manual. I appreciate the response. I replaced the box that’s by the fuses but no change. I suppose I’ll just have to get my hands dirty. So much for the manicure. Lol!
