Couple questions

Hello All,

Couple questions for you guys. I have recently bought a 1987 RX7 off of craigslist.

It needs a new radiator and starter. Anyone have any good links for good performance parts? I am looking for turbo, heads, (If they have them), camshafts, connecting rods, ECT....

Also are the V-8 Conversion kits for the RX-7's? Or is just as good to stick with the rotary engine and just put a little bit of money and time into it?

Thanks,
Tyler

Mazda Rotary Engines, AKA Wankel Rotary Engines do not have cams, connecting rods, or "pistons" in the traditional sense. Click on this link to understand more. Read through 1-6 of "Inside This Article" and you will then understand the basics of how it all works.

Yes, there are V8 swap kits available. If you do some searching (link top right of page) you will find many threads regarding the swaps.
