a couple issues I need help with

So my 88 vert has small issues that I'd like to get some feedback on.

1. It makes a metallic clank when under accel/decel

2. The plugs seem to be getting tighter when I try to loosen them to take them out.

3.Car feels really sluggish I was told this is normal tho

I go UGHHH when I walk..lol..It hurts there..you know right "there"

Now if you are more specific and pinpoint where the sound is coming from it may help.(front, back under..screaming passenger banging on door, wanting the hell out!...)

My guess is the Front differential mount.

If the plugs start getting tight then it is time to break out some Lube and spray then threads of the plugs.
Working them in and then out to lube the threads so you can eventually get them out.

and Yes,N/A Verts are heavy so they are not a real fast machine.
BUT you look good in one making all that racket..hahaha!

Sorry coming from vw, its a little confusing.

I would guess its from my trans area. It also makes noise when I shift sometimes.

Sounds like the middle of the car under my seat area.

ah..the noise..that may be the heat shield on the car hitting exhaust or the body.
Jack the car up and get dirty..you need to inspect that if you want to find out what it is.

So today a new problem arose. The car overheated because the thermostat jammed. I realized my car has stop leak in it also and the bolts to the coolant flange snapped.

Tomorrow im going to get some easy outs for the flange and install a new thermostat. Does anyone know what the proper size bolts are. thread , and length etc.
