Coolant Light, Rough Idle, Seatbelt light.
Ok. So I just got my car today, and I'm noticing some problems I didn't notice before.
Just a little history. I bought the car from Quebec, had it shipped to Toronto. The dealership put water instead of engine coolant in the car, and shipped it with a low battery. The water froze, the battery was a bit dead, and the transportation agency flooded the **** out of the car. I had it towed to a mechanics, they drained the water and replaced it with engine coolant. They changed the spark plugs, changed the oil, and drained the engine. I went to pick it up today.
1st Problem: Upon start up, it throws out a lot of white smoke. I heard that is normal for the first 5 minutes or so while it's warming up. I also know that white smoke is a sign that coolant is being burnt. My question is: Is it normal, or is engine coolant being burnt. The smoke goes away after 5 minutes.
2nd Problem: I filled it with engine coolant, drove it around for approximately 30 minutes, and it was OK. I parked it in my garage, started it about 3 hours later just to see how the battery was holding up, and the light comes on saying that the coolant is low.
3rd Problem: When I test drove the car, the seatbelt light went off when I put my seatbelt on. Now, it stays on and it clicks, driving me crazy when I drive. It sounds like my turn signal is on. Is this a problem that could have occured during shipping or is this a low battery problem more likely.
4th Problem: When I roll up my window, it rolls up in intervals, like when the seat belt light clicks, it rolls, then stops. Then rolls again for a bit, then stops. Is this a battery problem as well?

Coolant coulda just had an air bubble in it... Top it off and see if it drops some more.
I'd say the dealership owes you a complementary compression test for filling the car up with water, especially in the winter.

Also. The car idles pretty rough, around 1k. There is also a clicking noise in the engine, and when it clicks I can feel it getting weaker, then it clicks again and it gets stronger. It also backfires a lot.
And yea, the coolant I will try to fill again.
I was reading around and it could be a fuel relay problem, or a TPS problem. Anyone think the symptoms fit?
