coolant hose popped!

I just bought my new toy, a 1993 fd, it needs a lot of love to get it where I want it, but right now i have a problem with a coolant line that keeps popping!! I drove the car for two days with no problems, and on the third day the car started revving from 1k to 2.5k rpm whenever I was out of gear. This only happened when the car was hot. I then drove it to a tuner, thinking it was a problem with the aftermarket apexi map. I didn't have it tuned at the time, but the tune shop said that it was running rich. On the way back from the tuners a coolant hose burst. So I pulled over. The engine hadn't overheated. I left it like that overnight, the next day I opened the hood and found the line. I replaced the line, refilled the coolant, started the car and drove it home. When I got home, the temperature guage was high, so I turned off the car and popped the hood. When i popped the hood, the hose burst all over me, again. I'll attach a pic when I'm home. does anybody have any ideas? It's the hose attached to the radiator cap filler.

1. check the radiator cap.
2. check the coolant for signs of combustion gases.

it ended up being that the coolant hoses are old, I just replaced it with a new one and the car ran fine. Finally got it tuned too, the plugs were shot, they fixed my idle and she is running great. I knew it wasn't my coolant seals, they have only been on the car for 20k miles. Thanks for you reply.
