Confused on ECU problem
I pulled my ecu out of my 91 rx7 vert because I had already ordered one off ebay from a guy scrapping an rx7 only to find that they are completely different ECU's :/

well I mean I can hear the starter working and all but it wont actually start. isn't there a way you can manually turn a pulley or something while someone tries to start the ignition? I replaced spark plug wire and changed oil too :/

ok whats a way to check for fuel and spark? my spark plugs are fairly new and I put new spark plug wires on yesterday, fairly new fuel pump ( 1 year old) , I was thinking about getting some mmo . you just put it on your spark plugs correct?

You could try a little oil first in the plug hole but how are you concluding that it's seized? You can also try 1 to 2 seconds of starter fluid sprayed into the air intake and try to start the car.
Also, how long has it been since the car has been run. The fuel could possibly be bad and or the fuel sock in the gas tank is clogged. More info is needed here.

Ok so I got it to turn over using some starter fluid and mmo, only thing is it won't stay started and the "add coolant" light start spazzing out :/ maybe I need a new radiator? I'm not sure but it's progress!

The starter fluid will only breifly keep the car running. You need to now focus on the fuel side of things. If the fuel is a year old it needs to be replaced as well as the filter for starters. After this has been done then you need to verify that the pump is working. The easiest way to do this would be to jumper the fuel check connector. Has a Black wire and a Brown wire. The plug is Yellow and encased in a rubber boot that is Black. The connector is part of the Emission Harness. It is located between the engine and the passenger fender and usually it is underneath the Emission Harness and has to be fished for as it does just not lie on top of this harness in plain sight. When jumpered it allows the pump to turn on w/the key to on. So, you will hear the pump now. Also, jumpering this plug is required because the fuel switch internal to the AFM can be damaged and it would prevent the pump from turning on. Jumpering bypasses this switch. You can also pull the rubber fuel return hose from the metal hose and place the hose in a jug and w/the connector jumpered the hose should fill a plastic jug w/gas w/the key to the on position.

Ok so I can hear the pump operating when I turn the keys over but don't start the car. Some guys actually walked over to me before I got it started for those 5 seconds and told me they could help me because the one knows about rotary engines, which was a relief to me because I'm no mechanic. So my next step will be fuel filter check, hoses, etc. then i guess injectors :/ the only thing that really stumps me is the " add coolant" light that pops on when I turn on my car for more than 10 seconds, any ideas?

We just did this last week. Sprayed the oil in(by putting the oil in a small hairspray bottle) both leading and trailing plug holes and turned the crank over by hand. we did it for about 20 revolutions or so and it seemed to get everything going smoothly. Just don't use TOO much. I think we did so it took us a lot longer to get it out and not foul the plugs.
