BC Clutch Slipping

Hey guys, I recently got my car out of the shop, Eunos Custom Automotive (Mazda/Rotary Specialist), but now the problem is, the clutch is slipping, we drove the car home, but the whole way, we weren't able to give it any power, the second you begin to press the gas a little harder, the engine revs, but the car will not gain speed. We called the mechanic when we got home, he told us that when he test drove it, it was fine. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks guys.

More details?

I saw your older posts about starting problems. Is this the same car (S5)?

Why was it in the shop? What did they work on?

Could be a worn clutch disc, something with the clutch hydraulics, or maybe a bent clutch fork...

If they worked on the clutch then Yes,I would be taking it back and say rectify the problem. But if they didn't go near the clutch, and worked on something not associated with the clutch, then the problem is yours, not theirs.
By the way,you do know that there is a www.bcrotary.com ??.
If you get in a pickle then post on that forum. That may get Chris's attention..(but I am neutral and just giving advice!)

Hey guys, sorry I haven't replied hahaha, yeah, it's the same car, the guy swapped the tranny for a different one, he told me that when he te4st drove it a few times, the clutch was fine, and engaging properly, but as we tried to drive it away, it seemed to not properly engage in any gear.

Apparently, the only work he did to it, was swapping the tranny, and putting in a new thermostat, he said he shone a flashlight on the clutch, just to make sure it was still in good condition.

My friend that I bought it off of, told me the car had a new clutch installed just before he got it, and he never did much driving in the car, and I didn't really get to drive it at all with the problems it had.

And hahaha, yeah, my account has the same name on BCRotary as it is on here, I'll give that one a try, I tried emailing Chris about it, he told me I should bring it back, but the tow is really expensive, and I definitely can't drive it back.

Thanks for any and all help guys
