clutch problem, 85 GS

trying to resurrect am 85 RX7 GS. got it for $400, engine starts very well, clutch and brakes dont work. replaced everything in the clutch line (master cylinder, slave cylinder, hardline and steel braided line). doesnt pump up, then i notice that the clutch fork has no movement, its already all the way in and theres no tension. heres a diagram:

then i look at manual and find this:

what is the fork supporter? does it push the clutch fork out when your not on the pedal?

any insight would be great.

Hey I dont know too much about this, but my haynes manual says it could be the clutch fork binding in housing or a broken release bearing or fork. Hope that helps although I'm sure someone else will have a better answer for you

hmm, ill have to look into this. ill probably get a new clutch kit with a throwout bearing and everything, that should solve the problem.

no i didnt, but even if it was pumped up nicely it would do anything because the clutch fork has no movement and is pushed all the way in (see picture above).

also heres the other pic from above that didnt get posted right:

When my secondary was out my clutch would just stick on the ground, but I was able to pump it with my hand back and forth until the majority of air was out then i could start feeling the resistance...

this might be possible but even if the clutch system was pumped up perfectly it would not do anything. since the clutch fork is already pushed all the way in towards the back of the car.

im assuming that if i buy a whole new clutch kit the problem would be fixed but it seems like a smaller problem than that.
