I have a bronze clutch in my 89 rx7 which seems to make squealing noises when slipped, like when getting into first. Sounds like metal on metal, so I sort of assumed it was normal. Engagements seem to be often choppy as well, unless slipped from a high speed. Is this a normal side effect of bronze clutches or is there something wrong?
