clutch

okay so the clutch is brand new on a 90 rx7 stage 2 f1 racing. the problem is when you start taking your foot of the clutch when the car starts moving the whole car shakes violently. but when its driving it stops. i've been told that since the clutch is new and the flywheel is resurfaced it needs to be givem some time to seat in.

Is it a sprung clutch or is it a puck style unsprung? If it is the 2nd one, then it will take a LOT of practice to get moving smoothly.

Ya dude i have an aggressive clutch too and well ya it will shake ur car if you slip it too much... if you feel that try letting it go completely.. generally you want to avoid slipping those type of clutches since they are meant for racing and not daily driving.

Unsprung clutch will shudder and grip as soon as the disk comes in contact with or looses contact with the flywheel/PP.

Did you resurface the flywheel when you installed it?
