Hi, I have a s4 with no mod. On the logicon all functions work beside the vent positions (face & feet, feet, windshield, windshield and feet) and no a/c. Any help would be appreciated.

 

Uh,,stupid question but does the engine have an A/C Compressor attached to it?
Some models do not have A/C but the Logicon says A/C.
They just used the same logicon on all models to save money rather than make one without those two letters printed on it!

 

There's a motor that opens up the necessary passage way to allow the airflow to go to the area designated by the logicon. Either the motor is kaput or the motor is not getting the proper signal from the logicon. The FSM should detail how to check this aspect of the system.

 

I meant to say it has ac but dont work.
I'll check the fsm and check it out when i have time.
And where is the motor that open the passage way located?

^ It's generally behind the logicon but a bit lower and in front of the fire wall.

 

Best bet is to take to a reputable shop and have it done right the first time, you will end up paying twice as much.
