Chattering noise 1987 TII

I have a chattering noise coming from the rear passenger side of the car and I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on what it might be. The chattering noise is most noticeable when cruising at normal speed on the freeway but it seems to be there all the time. I inspected the brakes to make sure all the hardware and brake pads were OK and the rear brakes seem to be good. The passenger side rear axel seems to have some back and forth play in it with the car jacked up compared to the drivers side which doesn't wiggle at all. I'm not sure if this could be an issue. The rear differential was replaced with a used one a few years ago and the noise has been there since that time. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

It happens to me when I hit bumps or when I am at higher rpms and even then it's rare, I have reason to believe it is coming from my passenger door but we might be on about to different sounds. When it happens try opening and closing your passenger door (it's helped for me) but again I say might be two different noises.
