Cat Question

Hello,

I was just wondering if the Auto and Manual catalytic converters are interchangeable on an s5 FC

I have an auto shell and was wondering if I could switch the cat from that car to my manual car.

The auto seems to have an extra pipe coming out the passenger side that I don't think I saw on the manual car, but I'm going to go look at the car to make sure.

Thanks in advance.

They're the same part. The catalytic converter is not related to the transmission. If one car didn't have the split air pipe attached, it has been modified.

Being that they fit the same, you have to figure the after market set-up without the split air pipe would most likely have less clogged converters.
