Carb on, carb off....Over 8 times i'm so pissed now.

Hi everyone, I am requesting much needed help.
I bought this 84 rx7, sweet car but it would flood terribly and could only idle at 2000rpm I decided to bite the bullet and rebuild the intimidating nikki.
It all went great and I even converted to mechanical secondaries for a while. When the carb was installed and all the vacuum lines where hooked up it started and ran idled great, at under 800rpm and the flooding is gone.
Here is the issue the car runs like crap between 2500-4000rpm it sputters and chokes if that's a good description. I have taken the carb apart over 8 times now, reverted back to vacuum secondaries and still no change.
The only thing I can see it that the fire wall side main, jet? is throwing tons more fuel at those rpms. You can actually see a huge difference in the spray between the two main. I am pretty sure the passages are clean and free of clogs. My only thought is that I managed to mess up the float adjustments and is causing this.
I have been trying to post but my computer keeps giving me crap, I had very detailed info about my problem.
In short my carb seems to be running rich after I rebuilt it. One of the main (passenger side) jets? seems to be spewing much more fuel the the other one. th car also runs like crap at partial throttle between 2k and 5k RPM.
At this point I have taken the carb apart over 8 times I am very frustrated. I am thinking that the floats might be incorrectly adjusted although I tried adjusting every single time, it's a bit confusing.
This is what it the carb looks like under light to mid throttle.
Fire wall side main. Passenger side Main.
C))))))))) C) ) ) )

Did you remove the fuel jets and clean them when you did the rebuild? If not, then you should've.
If you did, then did you get them back in the correct positions? Sometimes a person will end up with a secondary jet in a primary position.
Good luck.

ive never had mine apart to help you. ask the nikki guru's. sounds like a real problem. GL you sure you dont have a vaccum leak? maybe on the base of the carb. you use a gasket?

Okay so after pondering like Dr. House and having zero positive results I have a theory.
After I spent literally 16 hours rebuilding the carb the first time, I took every single jet in to consideration. The ones I never paid attention to was the jets inside the fuel bowls, they just looked the same or I just disregarded them. I placed all four side jets in a container and resembled as they came out.
Does this make sense? are they different? and if so hou do I know which goes where?
