hey guys on my rotary wagon the car starts and drives fine but when hot it dies out and wont turn on. if i let it cool off for ten minutes it will turn over.car has a 13b 6 port with a delorto carb

 

can anyone help

 

Have the carb looked at. I'd be willing to bet that's where your issue is originating from.

 

what was your coolant temp?

 

my coolant temp is 150 to 160

i'm going thru a similar problem mine start and after i drive it for 20 minutes and if i stop in a stop singh i will shut off, but if i give it gas is cool.

 

on my car the motor is getting floaded

 

I was thinking over heat, but guess not. How's start up? Maybe leak?

Edit: nevermind, you said when its hot.

 

the car start on first try now it's just when it get's warm it shut off, and also it's running way to rich the fumes are terrible it burns my eyes, when the car turns off i get little white smoke coming out the carb. i'm going to get it rejetted, i hope that fixes my problem. and now i could finally drive my wagon after 4 1/2 months.

 

Are you able to keep it running by feathering the throttle?

 

yes if i feather it it will stay on
