Car not starting, clicking sound "'87 Mazda RX-7 non-turbo"

Hey guys! I own a 1987 base model FC that was giving me problems with my reverse gear, so before I did an overhaul on my tranny, I wanted to change out the small clutch components first. I removed my tranny and replaced the clutch. I then started the car no problem and idled the car for about 10~15 mins when I realized that reverse gear was still same problems. so I shut the car off and went inside for a beer. When I tried to start the car again later in the day, all I got was a clicking sound "like when the battery is bad, or the starter" so I got those checked out and both passed. Next i'm guessing i'll check wires for any damage. I was wondering if anyone has ever had a problem like this before.

SUMMARY

1. Gear problems
2. Worked on clutch "removed and installed"
3. Car Started Fine, Clutch problems still there
4. When trying to start the car a couple hours later, there is no start and just a clicking sound

Thank your for your time gang.

you may have false power supply in the starter motor or lack of - in the box, little current in battery or false cord

Does the car require the clutch to be depressed to start the car? There is a Blue plug near the trailing coil. In this plug there is a somewhat thick gauge Black/Green wire. This wire must have voltage w/key to start. Does it? If the clutch needs to be depressed and the B/G wire does not have voltage w/key to start then you need to look at the Interlock Switch located at the top of the clutch and this item has a Black/Red wire and a Black/Green wire. The B/R wire would have voltage w/key to start and if it does then this voltage passes on to the B/G wire w/the key to start and clutch depressed. If the Black/Green wire has voltage w/key to start then the Black/White wire in the Blue plug should also have voltage w/key to start. Does it?
