my 91 rx7 na cuts out when takeing a hard corner or trying to do a dougnut any body have any idea when i turn hard it would make my car cut out please help

 

See FAQ. Rusted out baffles in the gas tank or a dirty fuel sock can cause this.

 

I had this problem once... turned out it was a lose Main Fuse in the fuse block under the hood.

 

Hey OP, had a similar situation years ago and it was narrowed down to the fuel pump. Not sure how much of a pain it is to replace on your vehicle, but solved my problem. Either way good luck on the fix. Also you do have a decent amount of gas in the tank right? I have seen cars cutout coming around a turn due to low fuel as well.

 

My '93 would begin lurching when I cornered about 3000 rpms and was steady on the gas. It literally happened at the same corner every day on my way to work. Up hill, road banked slightly the wrong way, and I could not goose it more than I was. It was like a bull ride when I let it happen! Car was still under warranty - the dealer did some fuel line work under factory recall and said they "tuned" something. Whatever, it seemed to redice if not eliminate the occurance.
