Just finished my 5 lug swap and seem to have lost my spindle nut retainers, along with one dust cap. Attempted countless google searches, as well and some forum searching. Dorman's catalog has a part number for the retainer but no one seems to have it in stock. Local auto parts don't seem to carry either part. Local Mazda dealer cannot procure dust caps and want to charge me a little over $5 per nut retainer. I can't be the first one with this issue. I'm a little hesitant to ordering these parts either a size up or size down, just hoping someone can chime in and help me out.

Your going to find that local auto parts stores don't have stock for these cars 90% of the time, and when they do order something in, theres a 50/50 chance it will work, and 50/50 chance on how long it will work

Your best bet would be to order them from atkins or mazdatrix, both companies have practically everything you need for a 7, and chances of fitment and longevity are much higher, even if the price reflects it

 

Tried those sites too, neither one carries these parts.
