Can anyone identify this manufacturer?
Hello,
I purchased an FD not that long ago and I've been having trouble identifying my intercoolers brand. It has PF marked on it. Seems like it was a kit as the aftermarket airbox connects to the intercoolers shroud. If anyone has any clue, I'd greatly appreciate it.

its all PFS Peter Ferrell Supercars. IMO the intercooler is really nice, it fits with all the pipes and battery and stuff.

Agree. It’s a Peter Ferrell Supercars IC. Not sure he’s still around and those aren’t made any longer. Regardless it a good quality bar and plate IC. IIRC about 300% larger than stock with smooth cast piping and a very good quality duct and intake box with a huge K & N inside. And as mentioned above, it doesn’t require downsizing or relocating anything.
While it’s WAY better than any open intake imo, if there’s one criticism it’s that it still scavenges intake air from the duct (like stock) rather than from the nose via the gap which you’ll find directly below the box. That was easily fixed on mine by adding holes on the bottom over that gap and plastic screening at the duct and inside the box over those holes.
It gives very respectable IAT’s.
