The A/C and P/S are mounted on the right side of the engine on the same bracket. The A/C lines run to the condenser, and compressor and go into the firewall. You need to take out the radiator to get to the condenser, and another A/C part is under the cooling panel in the left front of the engine bay and you can unbolt the compressor from the bracket. You do not take out the crank angle sensor at all what so ever. That would be bad. If there is no A/C or P/S the right side of the engine will be very open and the studs may be still threaded into the engine. They can be taken out with pliers by simply turning them loose.

I also was thinking, you might have cut the oil cooler lines if there is oil leaking out of the one hose your talking about and that it goes into the engine block. Is the hose you are talking about going into the bottom of the engine? If so that's the oil cooler lines.

I removed everything and stored it in the attic...and left the tubes going through the dash in case I ever want to hook it back up, its always nice to have that option
