yes, its normal for the hoses to leak oil when you remove them. there is oil in the sytem to lube the compressor. the hoses from the condensor (in front of the radiator) can be removed and stored or sold.

Sell whatever you can, and think is still good. Hell, sell the stuff that doesn't work. Wait till just before summer though, people are usually dying to get their hands on all that sort of stuff. Just be honest about what does and doesn't work obviously .

do I need to plug the holes were the hoses from the condensor go into the engine area.also the shorter of the two hoses from the condensor goes to what I assume is the compressor but where does the other longer hose go?

u can remove it all. only thing left of the a/c in mine is the part that's still under the dash with the two lines that come off it that stick out thru the firewall.

I think the other hose you're talking about goes to the drier? Not sure what exactly you're talking about. None of the holes need to be plugged aside for aesthetic purposes..

dam im at a stand still the tubing iv removed seemed to be going to the crank angle sensor which is attached to a belt on what i thought was the a/c compresser so if i take off what i think is the a/c compressor it looks as if the crank angle sensor comes off too also the longer of the lines from the condensor looks as if its going into the engine block is this correct?\

it kinda seem like the P.O already took off the P.S and A/C cuz all i can see is the air pump ,alternater ,water pump and the pulley right below the crank angle sensor(not to the side right below about 6 inches)

please help ill upload some pics later tonight

The A/C and P/S are mounted on the right side of the engine on the same bracket. The A/C lines run to the condenser, and compressor and go into the firewall. You need to take out the radiator to get to the condenser, and another A/C part is under the cooling panel in the left front of the engine bay and you can unbolt the compressor from the bracket. You do not take out the crank angle sensor at all what so ever. That would be bad. If there is no A/C or P/S the right side of the engine will be very open and the studs may be still threaded into the engine. They can be taken out with pliers by simply turning them loose.

I also was thinking, you might have cut the oil cooler lines if there is oil leaking out of the one hose your talking about and that it goes into the engine block. Is the hose you are talking about going into the bottom of the engine? If so that's the oil cooler lines.

Glad to hear you fixed the problem. Next time you should buy or download the Haynes manual and it will save you the headache lol.

I removed everything and stored it in the attic...and left the tubes going through the dash in case I ever want to hook it back up, its always nice to have that option
