I have a 84 7 and I can't figure out where this buzzing noise if coming from, it's located somewhere inside the steering column I think. It will click on and off similar to the blinker just faster and not as audible. It only clicks when the car is on, not when the key is turned to aux. I was at a stop one day and the clicking sort of shorted out, I seeked professional help and they suggested that it was some sort of relay that may be going hay-wire. Anyone help?

 

i had something similar in my 89 crx and it was the main relay, the main relay is underneath the steering colum aswell, that was makin the noise. and on another car i had there was a buzzing noise and that was cause by a bad ground. dont know if that helps but after knowing that, i was able to fix the problems
