Buying an fb
Hey everyone,
I am planning on buying an RX-7 here pretty soon, and i was wondering what to look for/at when I go to look at potential cars. I have read Aaroncake's guide to buying an fc, but I was just wondering if there are other, more fb specific things that I need to have a look at. These are the cars I am going to look at:
- #1 http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/ws...886125526.html High miles, but I won't be driving it any more than 7,000 mi. a year, so it should last quite a while still.
- #2 http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/cs...862523474.html Doesn't run, but if the carburetor is really the only problem, it could be a steal (depending on mileage, condition, etc.). Might be able to talk this guy down too. Any ways to tell if it is actually the carb?
Any help is appreciated.

be sure to check the rear wheel wells towards the front of the car. this will also be the area in the storage bins if u can get them out to look behind these bins for rust out. and the mileage on the first one is bout average on these. if u do the math it comes out to be 6672/yr. $800 for a running fb, hell yeah!
that SA would be a good project.
