1981 RX-7 GS. Working on the top of the engine (actually, disconnecting & plugging the carb port for sub zero start system) & I hit the top of the Yellow stickered plastic valve on the vacumn spider & broke the top outlet off that goes to the carb. Can I plug the carb inlet & valve outlet & let it be, or will this cut off the air/fuel mixture to the rear rotor?

Not running right now & would like to know if I need to fix B4 starting her up.
