braking fluid leak after changing the brake pad

Hi,

i have a 88 NA
i was changing brake pads today
after i unscrewed all the bolts of the caliper, it started to leak

i find out it is the braking fluid and i cannot feel any pressure of my pedal.
i didn't touch any thing else. so, what can cause the leak?
any idea?

Thanks

More info please.4 lug brakes or five lug brakes.
At the most there is one bolt to take the back brakes off,and 2 to get the fronts off.
Did you try to 'adjust' the pistons on the brakes?.
did you touch the rubber cups surrounding them?
Is it a line leak.Flex line cracked, and leaking?
Have you Done brakes before?

it is a 4 lug. also it is a 4 piston. front wheel
i took all the 4 bolts off.
i just realized that i don't need to take the caliper off. i only need to take the pins off for changing pads...

i saw liquids came from the bottom of my calipers. dunno where are they originally from.
also i didn't see a bolt for drain the braking fluid.
so i am wondering if one of the bolts if for draining?

so i need to add fluid and bleed air for my four brakes?

Ok.4 lug brakes came with single piston calipers.
4 piston calipers came with Vented rotors.
If it is leaking, then No bolts, nuts, seal additive, etc is going to do you any good.
You need to replace or rebuild whatever is leaking.
You need to remove the caliper to change pads.Lift it out, adjust the brake caliper so that it can accept the new pads width, and then put them back in.
If you are not sure about what you are doing then by all means do not be afraid to ask someone for help.
If you can't get it on the internet then get your car to a shop or get a buddy that knows what he is doing to help or do it.
It's not a question of "ya,I know I can do it".It is a Safety issue, for you and the others that are sharing the road with you.
You can try the Factory Service manual located on at this link: Foxed.ca.

it looks the same as four piston on hayes manual.
also, the instructions for 1 piston does not work on my calipers although my rotor is not vented...
