Bought an fc, need to tackle wiring.
I was wondering if maybe someone can give a quick identification of this wire harness. What was cut off?
I am missing a plug from my 13b-rew power fc banzai connector and am trying to figure out what it was and why it’s missing. Maybe the cut harness was supposed to be plugged in here
to note, the car runs, but terribly even with the missing plug. It’s an s5 chassis with an s4 6 port turbo motor from what I understand. It’s been through many different motors and likely many different wiring setups so here I am.
thanks for any help.

Yes ruse the above foxed link to use both s4 and s5 wiring diagrams.
Looks like the previous owner installed a s4 t2 engine in a s5, using an apexi power fc with a s4 patch harness since using the s4 t2 engine harness.
a little too messy as it would’ve been easier to do s5 engine harness, s5 t2 engine electronics on the s4 engine with the power fc and s5 patch harness.
but it is what it is, and I bet you could get it working.
If it is on power fc, it’s be wise to invest in a datalogit so you can plug into the power fc to even really see what tune/settings are on it. You can try with the power fc commander but it’s much easier with a laptop.
FWIW, when I purchased my s5 power fc patch harness from banzai racing, they uploaded their base map for my injector sizing on my power fc and it ran pretty well. Shoot, I’m still running it after doing a bit of tuning it myself.

For a stock n/a s5 there are 3 yellow plugs going into the ecu, two of them are for the main engine harness that you remove when you remove the engine. The other one on the drivers side stays with the car and I believe it is connected to the part of the harness that stays in the car that has the alternator power and oil pressure gauge and a couple things hooked to it, think the starter as well.
