Borg Warner s256 turbo on a 12a
Hi,
I've got a '78' 323(glc) with a 12a in it. I'm looking to put turbo and injection in it. I can't find any info on the bw s256 turbo on a 12a or 13b. Looking at the size of the wheels and so forth they seem to be similar to a gt3076.
There's alot of info about the s360-66 turbo on 13b's but I don't think I'll need something that big for my motor.
I'm after about 300whp and fairly quick spool so the s256 seems like it would do it. What do you guys think? They are alot cheaper than a Garrett and you guys in the U.S seem to love them.

If they are similar to the 3076 (I'm not at all familiar with any of the BW turbos) then that's a great choice for a 12A. You'll be quite happy with the response and that turbo will do 300HP without too much of an issue.
