Generally, no.

But since you have given absolutely no information about which car you are referring to, it is hard to say.

Though if your car is making less then 600HP, it's not worth it.

 

thanks for the info i have a 94 mazda rx7 street port to4r etc... still braking in the motor so i dont know really know wats it putting out for hp but the guy who did my motor said i should b getting over 450hp to the wheel on 12lb boost

 

I have the same question but looking for an upgrade to replace my stock throttle body
