Hey guys,

So my FC recently started making some beeping noise in the engine bay when the car is on.

It sounds like morse code.

What is it?

 

There is nothing in the engine bay that beeps. There is however a little speaker in the CPU that will beep trouble codes when there are problems with things like power steering. See FAQ for info.

 

Did you drop your cell phone in the engine compartment?..you have messages..lol!

..Seriously Though,as RR said,there is no beeper in the engine compartment.Only the Cabin.
If it is 5 beeps it is steering related.(see FAQ sticky)

A series of beeps is the power steering compuer telling you something is wrong. The sound actually comes from a little silver box under the steering column. 5 beeps is the steering sensor. Three beeps then repeat is usually low fluid in the reservoir.

 

This guy obviously read the sticky!.

I wasn't sure if I had to find the sticky or if it was under RotaryRockets info "Turbo Swap FAQ".

 

Suddenly today I got the same beeps when idle, from the engine! not from inside the car, but from the engine bay, what is it about guys?
