arcing electrical current
Ok so last night I was checking on my car seeing as how it idles like a small block with a serious cam. I then began to notice when looking at the spark plugs that there was electrical current Arking from wire to wire and then other metal parts of the car (the power steering system). could this be why my car is idleing like ****? Are my wires that garbage that they can't keep the current in the rubber? Has this happened to anyone else ? Help this newb out please!

Yep, replacing the spark plug wires would be the first step.
Other causes to look at if this doesn't correct the problem would be:
1. Need to replace spark plugs?
2. Check engine grounding.

I changed the ignition coil cause I learned that that can cause too much current to go through the wires thus causing them to ark and the I changed the dameged plugs and we are gonna see wheat happens cause the wires are brand new if it continues then I'm gonna do the wires. Also where would i check for the engine grounding??

I bought an FB that ran rough, checked the wires and they were all connected wrong, and the coils were swapped, put them back as per manual and the thing ran sweet!
