anyone in middle TN? HELP!

I am in some much needed help! I recently acuired a 86 gxl, rebuilt 13b with a 91 intake (manifold and up, also a 91 ecu aswell)
This is my only means of transportation and I can't figure it out. I got the car not running at all, tinkered around, put a gas tank in and fixed the sending unit, fixed fuel rail. I have managed to get it to started and run for a few seconds, I know its not timed properly but if I give it some gas I can keep it running, but then it will just suddenly die out. There are only a few vacume lines hooked up and I was told it will run fine without them because they are mainly just for emmisions. I'm pretty knowledgable in mechanics, just a newb with rotory engines...

Is there anyone localy that can help me out? I can pay a little and offer lots of beer, lol. Or if someone has some good ideas on here please let me know. Thanks so much!

Im in east TN if that helps

Sounds to me like we just need to go ahead and adjust your timing.(or you) Timing will work wonders for your start-up process. I am fairly knowledgeable in Rotary engines and am in school for motor-sports engineering. I'm sure if we bumped our heads together enough something will run. Ooltewah, TN to be specific.
