Convertible top Replacement
So 25 years is all I could get from the original vinyl top, just can't get good quality anymore.
I decided to upgrade to a canvas top. Hopefully this one will last a little longer
Local (Charlotte) quotes ran $1,500 - $1,700, so I decided to try replacing it myself.
I ordered the top from Convertible Top Guys (Convertible Tops and Convertible Top Parts) and it looks really nice in the box. I spend about 5 hours today removing the old top and it was pretty straight forward. Tomorrow I plan on installing the new top. I'll let everyone know how long it takes so you can decide to do it yourself or farm it out.
Below are some pictures with the top removed.
