Convertible top Replacement

So 25 years is all I could get from the original vinyl top, just can't get good quality anymore.
I decided to upgrade to a canvas top. Hopefully this one will last a little longer:) Local (Charlotte) quotes ran $1,500 - $1,700, so I decided to try replacing it myself. I ordered the top from Convertible Top Guys (Convertible Tops and Convertible Top Parts) and it looks really nice in the box. I spend about 5 hours today removing the old top and it was pretty straight forward. Tomorrow I plan on installing the new top. well, since he's not been on here since a month after posting that, i'd say probably gave up and sold the car.

That's a shame and I know that feeling. I replaced the top on my s2000 and it nearly killed me. One of those jobs where it's best to leave it to a pro. |
