Any good rotary mechanics in Los Angeles CA?

I've seen a couple on Google, but want to check here just in case...

Actually I'm more interested in figuring out who to stay away from, if any

stay away from rotary shack, if that guy is still around that is.

also i'd stay away from any generic performance shop, rotary engines require a particular touch.

and when i was in vegas they said "if only that guy was still in cali". lol

thing is, business was getting slow enough already in vegas that neither place was going to be a continually viable option. kind of strange that i managed to keep a virtually perfect record in the business but i couldn't get the same amount of traffic as the other shops with worse scores. oh well, such is life.

even buckey lainge, who doesn't know his *** from a hole in the ground seems to be doing better than i was. how? i have no clue, he fails at almost every aspect of performance car building, sucks as a thief, and sucks as a driver too. but people like to buy from people who have a nice looking car, why? i don't know, i put everything i have into other people's cars while mine take a backseat. people are gullible i guess, and i am a bad at wasting time on creating a sense of security through putting time into my own projects as a veil instead of customer ones. i could spend all my time painting my cars, putting body kits on them, baller wheels, and 3 rotor conversions just to make everyone ooh and ah while they wait 3 years for their engine to be rebuilt that should have taken 2 weeks.... but i've also come to the conclusion that people are idiots and i'm better off walking away before i go more crazy than it already has made me.

if i sound bitter, it's because i am. the only reason i do anything rotary related anymore is because i have to still pay bills, i also need to take care of a few other things like replace my toolbox that i sold before so that i can go back to work as a line tech for the dealers. i still have honor and integrity, but i have grown to hate a lot about this community in recent years. nothing is worse than spending hours of your time helping a person for them go and buy a product and service from your competitor while you barely afford your monthly expenses, it's actually pretty damn screwed up and it happens to me pretty much everyday.

anyways, the above can be something to consider when looking at shops. don't disregard the small dirty shops and don't put all your faith into big spendy looking shops, the big ones always have some junk they want to sell you that you don't need and that is why they are big shops.

If you're looking for a good rotary mechanic (i.e., someone who will rebuild your engine with/for you) in LA I've had a great experience with Jeff and his guys at Rotary Power in Gardena so far. He's got a solid backlog of work, a small dirty shop, and a good reputation as far as I know. He keeps talking about how he's not sure how much longer he's going to take business but I've got my foot in the door. The best way to get in touch with him is to call if you're interested.
The fancier, less hands-on rotary shops in the area include Racing Beat, Ronin Speedworks, Mazdatrix, Tri-Point, Lucky-7 Racing and a couple others I'm sure I missed.
*Lucky-7 advertises rebuild services but I don't have experience with them.

I would've taken my FD to Ben^^ if I hadn't just missed him before I moved to Vegas.

If you're willing to travel a little ways I've had excellent service and very reasonable pricing the past months at
RRR Motorsports in Santa Ana, CA
Nick and John have been in the rotary business for many years and are extremely competent.

I actually travel all the way down there from Santa Barbara, CA for service.

I would recommend trying Lucky 7.
Heard numerous great things about them and I've been messaging Fris back and forth has has helped me answer some questions.
