my project includes 84 rx7 gs with 91 jspec turbo II engine swap using microtech ecu. i have been trying to figure out the alternator wiring, i was originally going to use the s5 alternator but it tested no good ( tested at a local alternator reman shop) i had a s4 alternator that worked so i was going to reuse the fb alternator pigtail.
most of the original fb harness was removed. i had removed all the black tape so i can wire just the alternator wiring into the fb to give it an original look, my problem is all wiring diagrams show that the black-white stripe wire goes to the main relayand fuse 2 but following the wires in the harness it seems the wire enters the passenger side in the emissions harness!

is this correct? does the wire circle around to the driver side from inside the car?

has anyone come across this with 13bt swaps?
