welcome to the board.

well start with checking the basics: fuel, ignition, compression.

another idea would be to pull the plugs see if it shows signs off flooding (which could be a leaky injector). deflood if needed and you may also try some kind of starting fluid.

i will assume that at $200 you probably didn't get records or a reliable history, so what have you done to it in terms of maintenance/upkeep since you got it? a full tuneup may be in order.

lol, :P I agree with diabolical, with a $200 vehicle, it would be hard to think that the car is in decent condition. Seems like it may be more of a restoration project to get it up and running reliably.

Seems like someone passed the issue to you. Possibly, low compression?

if manual, tie a rope on it and pull it in second till it starts,(little either doesn't hurt) my old rx sometimes just wont start (low compression) but after pull/cranking for a few, she'll light up and blow all the junk out..after that will start for months no issue..
cheers D

question:
What do you mean by "won't fully turn over"??

Do you mean it will roll over but not start?...or does the engine just STICK and not even move when you try to start it.
