After market Radiator Fan Wiring questions
I decided to get a new radiator fan for my car today, and I am getting ready to put it in, and as you can see the old one is pretty eaten up, and I noticed that the old one had 4 wires coming from it and going to the wiring harness, while this new fan only has a total of 2 wires. Now I am not an electrical genius so I am asking here. How do I hook up this new fan so that I do not fry my entire system?
Do I just go black to black and blue to blue or what? Please help!
First pic is of old fan, second is of new fan, and third is the harness in the car. Yes if I do any clipping I will be saving the harnesses but I am just unsure of how to proceed. I have looked and am unable to find fans with 4 wires like my old one. So I am sol haha

well i got the wiring done, fans working but still the temp is coming up. I guess I need a shroud with these fans. Anyone know where to get some old fans...or something that will work? Summer is too short to not be driving this car.

Hopefully he finally listened to the earlier recommendation and stuck with the stock fan and shroud. They're robust, move a lot of air and the shroud can't be beat. Good used ones are available and nothing on a street driven (and many track-only cars) are better. IMO the only reason to go to an aftermarket fan is if you're forced to by other major mods that won't allow space for it. But those are pretty rare.
