Aero Racing Wheels - Questions and advice
Okay, before i get laughed at let me say this is FREE for me and what I currently have at my house. I do dirt track racing and have MANY 15x8 Aero Racing wheels, they look good to me and I like how it looks on my car, now I know most people use 17" or 18, but what do you guys think? What size tire would I even consider using on road course if I were to use these? Yes I know this is probably a stupid thought
my 89 FC, this car was given to me and needs some work. My plans for this car is painting it a dark blue, new wheels/tires, then over time doing a swap. It needs work and i'm not sure if i should spend the time/money to rebuild it or wait and buy me a nicer one. (I'm one that tends to like restoring things)
I don't think the small diameter is an issue at all if it fits over your brakes. IIRC the 8" width will be an improvement in grip over the stock wheel so it sounds like a good idea.
Are dirt track racing wheels as durable as road wheels?

The aero racing wheels are either dirt or asphalt racing wheels, the 59 series is what NASCAR uses (not the series i have, just a fact)
I have been in some tough wrecks and these racing wheels have took some good licks, and I don't think asphalt racing is as NEAR rough as dirt track racing is lol just my opinion
