Adjusting tps using all the guides

I have been in the process of adjusting my tps using the many different guides and I can get it to set at 1k ohm and it will read all the way to 4.6k ohm but when I test the other pin it is only at 3k ohm is my tps bad? It is 1k ohm off of spec but again on the pin to set tps it will read all the way to 4.6k ohm

do it off of voltage, Ohms isn't the best way of doing it because the computer looks for Volts, not Ohms

I'm guessing this is a s4? if so, take it for a drive (1/2 hour) than look for DC voltage at the green wire going into the TPS and set it to 1 volt

Yes it is sorry about forgetting that part... But okay I will try that. I was trying to do the voltage way, but it took me until now to realize I had it set up wrong to test voltage and I was doing a voltage drop instead...
