add coolant light stays on

yes, i've added coolant
every time i do add coolant it just starts to pour out of the radiator.

any ideas?

By "pour out of radiator" do you mean is keeps overflowing the reservoir or do you mean it is over pressurizing and spraying out from under the cap?

where the hose runs from the top of the water pump to the top of the radiator, that part of the radiator is where the coolant flows out of

Are you opening the bleeder screw on the top / passenger-side of the radiator? If not, you'll have air bubbles trapped in the system that can cause the light/buzzer to stay on.

it's been closed all the way. are you saying it should be open slightly?

Open it when filling so the air can escape, allowing coolant to take its place and hopefully shut the light off.

i'll give that a shot tomorrow. i wanna say i have tried that, but i honestly don't remember.
