AC gurus - need help with 91 N/A ac missing components
Hello, I've got an ac system thats missing a good amount of components. Moving to texas for the next 6 months, figured I'd get this system working.
Yes I know my radiator is terrible, I'm in the market for something that'll hold up to texas heat. Any suggestions would be great!
So basically, I've got a bunch of pictures to show you what I'm working with, and I need to come up with a shopping list. To the best of my limited ability, I've come up with a list:
I need sources for all these as well:
-Compressor/belt
-All lines forward of the firewall (which are..??)
-Condenser (something bigger than stock because I'll be using r134a)
-Dryer
-Expansion valve
-Associated relays/wiring (not sure where to look to see what I still have)
-New seals for r134a (source?)
Please help me with this list!!! That's all I could find from searching the forum.
Here are the pictures:
Compressor bracket. Has a belt tensioner.
Another view of compressor bracket. Here you can see a rubber hose coming off the radiator. Any idea where this goes to?
Better view of rubber hose. Additionally, the top right corner shows the tensioner pulley.
Shot of the firewall. Here you can see an empty plug, as well as a hard line. I followed the hard line along that red/green arrow..
Then got to underneath the airbox, you can see here that the line was simply cut. So I need this line for sure.
View from front of radiator. No condenser here! There is an electric fan. Is this stock? I'm sure I'll need it though.
Another shot of fan/radiator/no condenser
TLDR:
So to sum up all my questions (answer at your own will!)
-If anyone has pictures of a complete system, I'd love that
-Good radiator source (maybe aluminum?)
-Need complete shopping list/part numbers?
-Where to buy BIGGER condenser? Are there universal ones that work?
-Where to buy compressor/belt
-Where to buy dryer/where does this go
-Where to buy expansion valve/where does this go
-What kind of wiring is needed, where are these wires, are there harnesses I can buy?
-Where to buy seals for r134a
-What is the rubber hose coming off the radiator?
-How will I wire the electric fan?
Finally:
-If anyone has a complete system lying around for sale, I'd love to buy it!
Thanks in advance!

I think if I was going to do the job ( not that I know much about AC ) I would look for a wrecker or a forum member close to you with the whole set up that is still closed and take the whole ice machine . Swap it into my car and maybe that would work . anything left open like that is usually screwed from contamination .

Ice doesn't sound bad, I'm putting some relays in my window switch so at least I'll have the wind.

I think that is about the only reasonable thing to do and I really wonder about that, I think I would worry more about keeping the little engine cool than me . I have lots of AC components that you could have but I think you would be wasting your time and shipping costs . too heavy and too far to ship for something that is probably NG anyway .

I'll start looking around for a nice system.
