about my 1986 rx7

Guys i want to make my car faster but i don't want to go turbo i want to do everything i can to it without having to rebuilt my engine. any ideas guys, all i have is headers and all the system of that. Thank you,

A free'r flowing exhaust is probably the best bet for a non turbo, but it will be tough to get real power out of it without rebuilding and porting the motor.

Of course you should make sure that all the fluids are new, the spark plugs and filters are new, check and replace any hoses that have swelling... you know basic tune up stuff first. That often gets you back a considerable amount of lost power.

yea i have exhaust, i have ngk spark plugs and i was wondering if i get 10.5' spark plug cables would that do it for the spark plugs or do i need to get bigger sparkplugs or what, this is my first car and am not a mechanic but i do learn quick so plzzz can you brake everything down, thank you bro. mike
