'93 vs. '94 FD doors

Might be a dumb question but here goes. I notice a difference in the sound and feel when closing the doors on a '94 FD versus a '93. Have I lost my mind or do the later model doors shut more solid?

It's probably the spot welds between the door skin and door frame. IIRC guys have fixed that problem with JB weld or maybe sound damping mats. A search should find some answers.

interesting the doors on my 93 are kinda hard to close..i know door handles were a problem on early cars
