Hey guys looking for an engine rebuilder in Houston area. I have 2 motors one is a standard and one is and auto. Willing to part with the standard engine but need the auto rebuildt. Anyone know of such a person? Both are 93 Twin Turbos.
Thanks.

Go check out http://www.atkinsrotary.com/
They sell some great rebuild/upgrade rebuild kits. My '93 FD's engine was rebuilt with Kit C and street port and polished and is now putting out upwards of 450rwhp. Check them out and if you have any mechanical skills and the right tools you can do the rebuild yourself with ease. Good luck man. They also have complete rebuilds swaps for a decent price at http://www.nagasakijdmmotors.com

thanks guys I am going to have the turbos checked first. I have two motors with turbos to choose from. The guy I got the car from said that the engine was smoking out of the exhaust and would not stop. He also said he thought the turbo housing was cracked so it may not need a motor rebuild just good turbos. On my 87 RX7 it did the same thing but once it warmed up like after 3-5 min it stopped smoking which was apex seals. So turbos off to turbo shop and then we will see what happens.

just pull them off and see if they're cracked or any shaft play. I'd try to do a compression test first
