91' Vert N/A- Limp Mode
Hey guys, so I just picked up a 91' Vert N/A and it ran perfectly for a day after I bought it. The next day I drove it, it ran perfectly until the car started to bog. The engine light came on and I figured it was bad. Limp mode
I checked the engine codes: 1 12 17 18 27 37
My friend and I thought it could be an O2 sensor problem, so we changed that, but that didn't solve anything.
We then tried to use a spare s5 OMP, it still gave the same codes. (maybe it was bad)
After all of that, I went to the local pick-n-pull and grabbed a n352 ECU. I haven't installed it yet, but I'm afraid of blowing it.
I looked all over the forums, and even talked to my local rotary peeps, and they don't know what the problem could be.
So, does anyone know what the issue may be? Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

01 - Ignition Coil (Trailing) - Trailing ignition pulse cut
12 - Throttle Sensor (TPS) Full Range - Fixed at 20% open
17 - Feedback System (poss O2 sensor) - Feedback cancelled
18 - Throttle Sensor (TPS) Narrow Range - Fixed at full-open
27 - MOP (General) - Basic Fuel Injection and fixed timing
37 - MOP (General) - Basic Fuel Injection and fixed timing
That's a lot of problems, but the only one that will cause limp mode is a bad MOP. Often a failed MOP will burn out part of the ECU when it goes. You'll need to replace both at the same time.
The trailing coil and TPS problems will affect driveability.
