91 Twin TPS setting

trying to get info on setting the twin TPS on a 91 which I think maybe the cause of the rough idle and running on my rebuilt engine. Also put a fuel pump form my dead 87 coupe into it last week so I'm getting a fuel pressure gauge tomorrow to check that is up to specs.

Set the narrow range TPS in the same way as the S4 TPS is set. The full range TPS is "self setting".

Thumbs up New problem

Hooked up the test lights. Hooked up the ground wire. Can hear the solenoids clicking as I move the throttle but can't get the test lights to light at all unless I check them on the battery. Never came across this one before... ..... any ideas
Adjusted the tps by the suck it and see method and got it running smooth but not perfect so thanks for you post Aaron

Don't use a test light. Use the procedure in the Haynes manual to adjust the TPS to 1K resistance using an ohmmeter.
